OREGON DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY — Conducts emissions testing for all vehicles, beginning with 1975 models, registered within the Portland metropolitan area. There is a $21 fee for vehicles that pass the emissions testing. For information about registering out-of-state vehicles, call DEQ (503-229-5066). Testing stations include Sunset Clean Air Station (5130 N.W. Five Oaks Drive), N.E. Portland (7701 N.E. 33rd Drive), Clackamas (9350 S.E. Clackamas Road.), Gresham (1200 S.W. Highland Drive), Scapoose (52751 N.E. 1st St.), Sherwood (14962 S.W. Tualatin-Sherwood Road).
