Open to skateboarding and rollerblading only. Mon. to Sun. noon to 8 p.m. or dusk. Park closed mid-October until Spring Break.

City Parks: Lake Oswego

BRYANT WOODS NATURE PARK — Located on the corner of Childs and Canal Road. 17 acres. Provides natural area for wildlife viewing and informal paths throughout the site.

CANAL ACRES — Located at the corner of Childs Road and Canal Road, adjacent to Byant Woods Nature Park. Thirty-one acres. Informal pathways and wildlife viewing.

COOKS BUTTE PARK — 42 acres on Delenka Lane that is basically undeveloped except for a system of informal pathways and beautiful views.

FOOTHILLS PARK — Located on the Willamette River waterfront, just north of Roehr Park and the Oswego Pointe area. It features sweeping views of the river from a covered platform; a ring of basalt columns engraved with the poetry of William Stafford (the Stafford Stones); a timber and stone picnic pavilion with a stone fireplace; pathways, a reflecting pond, and a grass amphitheater that will host Wednesday evening concerts in July.

FREEPONS PARK — Located at the end of Hemlock Street near Bickner Road. 5.9 acres. Amenities include hard and soft surface pathways, wooded areas, playground equipment, picnic tables, and open play area.

GEORGE ROGERS PARK — Located in Old Town at State and Ladd streets. Next to the Willamette River. Two covered picnic areas. Bike, jogging and hiking trail connects with River Road. Two outside tennis courts, two ball fields, one soccer field and special play area for children. Restroom facilities, a memorial garden. 26 acres.

GLENMORRIE PARK — Located at Highway 43 and Brookhurst Drive. Unimproved park. 2.3 acres.

GREENTREE PARK — Located on Greentree Road in the Palisades neighborhood, at the intersection of Carter Place. 4 acres. A tot lot play area and a half court basketball court serve local residents.
Hazelia Field at Luscher Farm  —  Located at 17800 Stafford Road. Hazelia Field at Luscher Farm is the City of Lake Oswego's newest community park. It is a 12 acre site containing the first artificial turf athletic field on city-owned property, 1.5 acre wetland, two dog parks, playground, restroom facility, parking lot, and trail access to the recently constructed Stafford Basin Trail.

IRON MOUNTAIN PARK — On Iron Mountain Boulevard adjacent to the Lake Oswego Hunt Club. 4.6 acres. Natural area and wetlands, informal pathways and wildlife viewing.

LUSCHER FARM — Located at the corner of Stafford and Rosemont roads. 57 acres. Regional park with rolling hills, farmland, wetlands and historic home and barn.

MILLENNIUM PLAZA PARK — Located at First and Evergreen, next to Lakewood Bay. Casual and community gathering place, seasonal events, fountains, covered picnic area. Hosts concerts and other community events. Restroom facilities.

PILKINGTON PARK — Located at 19043 Pilkington Road. Neighborhood park with open field area, walking path and picnic tables.

RED FOX HILLS 1 AND 3 — Two mini parks, one located at the corner of Bonniebrae Drive and Boca Ratan Drive and the other located just north of Hide-Away Lane. Small playground acres serve the local neighborhood.

RIVER RUN PARK — Located at the southern end of River Run Drive, borders the Tualatin River and Oswego Canal. 7 acres. Undeveloped neighborhood park.

ROEHR PARK — Located at the end of Foothills Road at 5065 Oswego Pointe Drive. 7.5 acres. Lighted riverfront path, picnic tables, benches, viewing docks and access to city’s Water Sports Center.

ROSSMAN PARK — Located in the First Addition Neighborhood on the corner of Fourth and C near the library. .6 acres. Neighborhood park with picnic shelter, tot playground, picnic tables and half basketball court.

SOUTHWOOD PARK — A neighborhood park located at 62nd Avenue and Pamela Street. 2.5 acres. Wooded and open areas with an access trail.

SOUTH SHORE PROPERTY — 7.3 acres on South Shore Boulevard.

SPRINGBROOK PARK — Located on Diane Drive. 52 acres. Community park, natural resource area with informal pathways and wildlife viewing. A PDF map is available for download on the city’s Web site.

TRYON CREEK STATE PARK — 11321 S.W. Terwilliger Blvd., Portland 97219 (503-636-4398). Located 1.5 miles northwest of North State Street. 645 acres. Nature area with numerous jogging and hiking trails through a wooded landscape. Trails are accessible for people with disabilities. Amphitheater for concerts. Restroom facilities. Part of the Oregon State Parks system, this is the only state park fully within an urban setting. For more information visit www.tryonfriends.org.

WALUGA PARK — Located in Lake Grove at 15533 Quarry Road. 53 acres. Picnic area with shelter and two lighted baseball fields (90’ and 60’ base path). Playground area, nature trails, open play area and restroom facilities.

WESTLAKE PARK — Located on Melrose Street and Fosberg Road. 12 acres. Offers three lighted ballfields, two soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, and play equipment.

WESTRIDGE PARK — 2.2 acres adjacent to Westridge Elementary School on Royce Way. Play equipment and volleyball area.

WEST WALUGA PARK — Located in Lake Grove at 3400 Royce Way. Picnic area, jogging and hiking trails, playground, volleyball area and grassy play area. Restroom facilities.

 

City Parks: West Linn

BENSKI PARK — Bounded by Hidden Springs Road, Carriage Way and Suncrest Drive in the Hidden Springs area, close to Rosemont Road. 1.68 acres. Open grass area with a small playground, basketball pad and play equipment.

BURNSIDE PARK — Located on Holmes Street and Edgewater Court next to the Willamette River. 10 acres. Features hiking trails, river access and wildlife.

CAMASSIA NATURAL AREA PRESERVE — Located off Walnut Street. Owned and maintained by the Nature Conservancy. Unique rock plateau was sculpted by prehistoric floods. Features hiking trails and diverse flora.

CEDAROAK BOAT RAMP — 16.5 acres located at the end of Elmran Avenue. This boat ramp facility also offers river access, hiking trails, restroom, fishing, and wildlife viewing.

CEDAR ISLAND PARK — 14 acre island in the Willamette River. Boat access from the river and Cedaroak Boat ramp. Pedestrian access from Mary S. Young State Park, by floating bridge, during spring, summer and fall. Activities include fishing from platforms, hiking trails and wildlife viewing.

FIELDS BRIDGE PARK — 821 Willamette Falls Drive. Parks and Recreation staff met with neighborhood associations and continue to meet with neighborhood design committees for the creation of the conceptutal Master Plan for this park.

HAMMERLE PARK — Located just off Willamette Drive and Lewis Street. Features ball fields, a tennis court, playground, new fountain and wading area, horseshoe pit, sand volleyball court, picnic shelter and restroom.

IBACH NATURE PARK — 1.2 acres with access from the western edge of Sahallie Illahee Park or off of Rosepark Drive. The park offers hiking trails and wildlife viewing.

MADDAX WOODS — 5785 River Street. Land donated by Dorothy Maddax includes 7 acres of woodland and a house undergoing restoration.

MARK LANE TOT LOT — Located off Mark Lane. .10 acres. Has tables and play area with equipment.

MARY S. YOUNG STATE PARK — Located on Willamette Drive next to Willamette River. Soccer fields, picnic areas, restroom facilities and 5-8 miles of hiking trails.

McLEAN HOUSE AND PARK — 5350 River St. Historic house available for weddings, events and meetings. Capacity of 100 guests. 2.4 acres. Park provides outside tables, paved play area, some river access, barbecue pit and hiking trails. Caretakers (503-655-4268).

MIDHILL PARK — 18505 Upper Midhill Drive. Under development. Parks and Recreation staff met with neighborhood associations and continue to meet with neighborhood design committees for the creation of the conceptutal Master Plan for this community/neighborhood park.

NORTH WILLAMETTE NEIGHBORHOOD PARK —1.2 acres with access from the western edge of Sahallie Illahee Park or off of Rosepark Drive. The park offers hiking trails and wildlife viewing.

OPPENLANDER ATHLETIC FIELDS — Located on Rosemont Road near Sunset district. Depending on the time of year, two full soccer fields, one full baseball field and two youth fields are available.

PALOMINO PARK — Located on Palomino Way, off Pimlico Drive. 0.5 acres. Basketball court, play area with equipment and a paved play area.

ROBINWOOD COMMUNITY PARK — The recently acquired 15 total acres make up the Robinwood Community Park at the end of Fairview Way. A current contract recently started will include park grading, installation of underground utilities, and parking lot construction. Work is beginning on sidewalks, playground, pedestrian bridge, skate area and pathways.

SAHALLIE ILLAHEE PARK — 4.26 acres with access from Horton Road and at the end of Nelco Circle. This park offers two separate play structures, two basketball pads, turf area for picnicking and games, scenic hiking trails and wildlife viewing.

SKYLINE RIDGE PARK — 2.5 acres located at the corner of Troon Drive and Stonehaven Drive. Facilities at this site include tennis courts, basketball pad, play equipment and turf areas for picnicking, games, etc.

SUNBURST PARK — Can be accessed from Derby Street, Suncrest Drive, Sunray Terrace and Bellevue Terrace. 6.5 acres. Has paved play area with equipment, and a basketball court.

SUNSET PARK — Located at the corner of Long Street and Bittner Street. 2.44 acres. Park contains picnicking areas, a large covered shelter, play equipment, restrooms and a wading pool.

SWIFTSHORE PARK — 4 acres of riverfront park and open space on the Tualatin River at the end of Swiftshore Drive. The park offers river access, fishing, wildlife viewing and small turf area for picnicking, games, etc.

TANNER CREEK PARK — 3340 Parker Road in the Tanner Basin area. Parks and Recreation staff have met with Neighborhood Associations and continue to meet with neighborhood design committees for the creation of the conceptual Master Plan for this community/neighborhood park. The final design currently contains play structures, a gazebo, water play area, basketball court, tennis court, restrooms, and a skate park. West Linn/Wilsonville School District property, located next door, may be utilized for additional parking area or extra field space.

TUALATIN RIVER OPEN SPACE — 7 acres with access from Michael Court. Beautiful setting on the banks of the Tualatin River. Metro Grant Project included planting native species, constructing fishing platform, improving paths/walkways, and interpretive signage at this park.

WILDERNESS PARK — 51.4 acres with access from Clark Street, Skyline Drive, and Windsor Terrace. This large nature area offers hiking trails and wildlife viewing

WILLAMETTE PARK — 4905 Volpp Street. 22.5 acres. Located at the intersection 12th & Volpp Street where the Tualatin River meets the Willamette River, this scenic 15-acre park offers the following amenities: two large picnic shelters and a smaller gazebo all with water and power, stage area with concrete pad in front, baseball field, two softball fields, one grass volleyball court and one sand volleyball court, five horseshoe pits, river access including boat ramp at Bernert Landing and dock system, playground, a new fountain and wading area and wildlife viewing.
